Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Heath educators create programs that encourage health and wellness, and prevent disease.

·        They teach people how to make good health decisions, incorporate healthy activities into their lives and avoid harmful behaviors.

Salary: $59,160

Education:

·        Get as much volunteer and internship experience as you can as an undergraduate.

·        Bachelor’s Degree

·        Must be licensed

·        Must have a degree in communication skills

Reflection: People who are Health Educators usually aren’t able to grasp an audience’s attention to give them informative information about being aware and knowing how your body works. I, myself love speaking in front of people which is why I feel a job like this would be up my alley. I would demonstrate my knowledge such as dressing up like the picture above me shows. I’d be using PowerPoints and showing experiments on how and why health is important. I’d also perform different tasks in how to stay perfectly healthy. Communicating with others comes quite naturally to me and I always feel comfortable speaking in front of others. It’s as if I’d be talking to any other person one on one.
