Class Evaluation

Class Evaluation

1.) One of the things i liked about this class is that, i was able to improve and practice typing without looking and memorizing the keyboard keys. I also liked how we were able to express our creativity and be allowed to design our blog however we please.

2.) What i didn't like about this class is that, I wish I was able to learn more about the computer programs and how they work. Such as being able to use PowerPoint, word, excel, making websites, blogging, etc.

3.) I recommend teaching more of the way the computer works and the basics of what to know as a student , to use in the academic lifestyle.

4.) The highlight for me in this class was creating short strong summaries for the blog posts.

5.) I did try my very best in this class. I've completed all my assignments on time and followed every direction appointed in class.

6.) Occasionally i read my life planning goals journal to remind myself about my possible achievements. I read to motivate myself a littler more everyday.

7.) I am definitely committed to being a CTR person. I will not give into temptations and i will always be motivated to pursue doing good in the encounters i experience in the future.

8.) In this class , I learned to be a much more civilized and a responsible young adult that is motivated to achieve her future goals. I will continue to respect myself, my elder, and peers and never give up even when i begin to struggle.

9.) I will always remember Mr. Haymore's greatest quote "Choose The Right." and the catchy song that goes along with it . :)

“You will go far with CTR”- Mr . Haymore

Our greatest challenges are the ones that determine the type of person we choose to be in the future. We must always choose the right in order to open greater opportunities for us in the future. We must always choose the right in order to reach and achieve our goals in the future. Choosing the wrong will only take away opportunities, chances, reputation and your dignity along with it. We should never give into the temptations and we must never follow the wrong. Our only focus and goal should be the positive ones we set. It should be to achieve the goals and reach the pathways that will make us a better person and to make the rest of the world better.

Of all the choices you will ever make, one choice supersedes all others- the ultimate choice. This one choice will help you to always make correct decisions for the remainder of your life. This one choice, The Ultimate Choice, is your keystone for being the best student and person you can possibly be. This one choice will forever affect you for good more than any other choice.

The ultimate choice is: - To be a CTR Person- to Always CHOOSE THE RIGHT 24/7!!

*We encounter many obstacles and stages in our lives that set us apart from the people that will choose the right and to those people that will decide to choose the wrong. We are put through these encounters to help define how strong we can be in the end and how determined we are to set through the encounter. We must always choose the right in order to have doors and opportunities open up for us. We must never give into temptation and we must always focus on the ultimate choice. The choice of choosing the right. The choice of righteousness.

Beautiful Character

If there is beauty in character, there will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world. Conclusion: If there is beauty in character, there will be peace in the world. -Chinese Proverb

Our character is what defines and determines how our personality and our persona is to others. Our character sets us apart from other individuals that are choosing to be the wrongest in character, Those who cannot find peace within themselves struggle in their everyday lifestyles. Having ugly character not only affects yourself but those around you as well. Character is usually created and begins at home. The way you act at home with your family and in your own private time settles the way you interact with others. If you connect well at home, you are sure to be connecting well with others and communicating with others as well. If things are settled to be in unfortunate series, then your character is demonstrated as ugly to others , but really is just the bitterness that grown upon you. This is what isolates us from the good and bad when were surrounding by all the different types of energies in the world.

Substance abuse a common term used to describe an overuse of drugs and alcohol. Both adolescents and seniors often misuse the substances and either take too much or are unaware of the consequences of the mixture. Drug and alcohol use can lead to other chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Addressing the impact of substance use alone is estimated to cost Americans more than $600 billion each year. After a long use of these substances, you begin to become very much dependent and begin to function oddly without it. With this addiction comes very difficult ways to control, give in and even take in after a long use. You increase a higher tolerance within every take and eventually the effects affect your everyday lifestyle. The way you respond, act, and comprehend things differ within time.

In the videos that were shown in class demonstrate both the right and wrong way to win. In the first video it shows a picture of a man racing with a horse caught using an electric shocker to quicken the speed of the horse. Not only is the cheating but is also inhumane and abuse for the horse itself. His careless and selfish actions could've cost the horse's life. He was shortly arrested after the photo had been determined by the police of his actions. In the second video, it demonstrates how two boys wrestled for state and one of the wrestlers had a sick father. Upon winning his title, the losing opponent paid his respect to not only the wrestler but for the fathers wrestler as well. Showing respect, loyalty and honor to both males. He showed a great gratitude of still being a champion even after losing fair and square.
"I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating. " - Sophocles
Sophocles
It takes a much larger character and individual with dignity to win by fair and only by fair game. Cheating determines the kind of individual you are that only comes by greed, unfairness and loyalty acts. To lose knowing you've tried and have attempted your very best is far more better than winning knowing you didn't give it your all and you've only cheated yourself and everyone else. With every cheater comes a liar and a manipulator. To win with honor is also a far more better reward knowing you've worked for it. Literally anybody can win by cheating. It's a far more greater challenge being able to do so (winning) if it's only yourself to count without any loopholes .
