Oncologist
Duties & Responsibilities:
·       Oncology specialists collect medical histories and perform physical evaluations in addition to basic administrative duties, such as maintaining records, coordinating with other medical personnel, and managing the work of staff
·       They also perform a wide variety of diagnostic procedures to ascertain the condition of tissues and to detect cancer
Salary: $217,856
Education:
·     Eight years of undergraduate and medical school education
·     Medical residency that can last 3-5 years depending on the specialty




Reflection: Becoming an Oncologist can be a very difficult job to perform since majority of their tasks is providing patients with either good or bad news. They are responsible for analyzing and finding out the difficulties of a patient’s body. They train to handle patients physically and mentally and it’s a job that really left me curious to know exactly what they do. I would like to know the basics and a brief description of how they spend their daily job as a doctor in a hospital. Many Oncologist provide a lot of care and support to all patients and do a very well job at it.
