Our greatest accomplishments are succeeded when any individual believes in his or herself enough to accomplish any difficult task that comes about there way. Our purpose in life is to find it and the only way to do so is tho set a goal at the end of the road. That goal is your goalposts and you must know what they are in order to continue striving. Our motivation is that goal and we should do the right in that and do good with others as well to reach that goal Our strive and our eagerness to accomplish our goal is what sets the standards and the determination of yourself when you push yourselves beyond the limits. Football in this particular scenario is described as using the goal posts as our own goal. We are tested to be pushed beyond our limits to determine if we really want our goal. THAT is our motivation. THAT is where were choosing to go! THAT is where we reached our goal!
