Demand for this picture: Demand for Mental Health Counselors is expected to go up, with an expected 30,100 new jobs filled by 2018. This represents an annual increase of 3.41 percent over the next few years.
Reflection: Many different types of mental health counselors can be found nearly anywhere. Here at school we are provided with counselors that are trained to deal with certain situations such as family problems, domestic violence, mood stabilizing and also those with speech impediments. It would be a privilege to become a mental health counselor because that way i am able to help many people of all ages to help better themselves and become an independ individual again to society.
