Duties & Responsibilities :

·       seating patients in the treatment area.

·       passing requested instruments to the dentist during dental procedures.

·       sterilization and preparation of instruments.

·       taking impressions of teeth for study models.

·       polishing clinical crowns.

·       exposing and developing X-rays.

Salary : $34,140

Education :

·      Complete an Externship

·      Major in  biology, chemistry, and anatomy

·       Pass a state Exam

·       Bachelor’s Degree

Reflection :

         Being a Dental Assistant would be a fun and an entertaining experience for me due to the fact that much of my job requires following the actual Doctor like a lost puppy. Being able to make the doctors job much more easier and efficient would be an honor as well as a privelage. Not only will it be entertaining but it will also be an amazing place to work for with an easy work flow, reasonable pay rate and a limited amount of people to work with. It would definitely be something I’d think about.
