We must always push ourselves over to the highest limit we can withstand. We chose to often pick the road that's the easiest to reach however you gain much more pushing yourself to a certain extent than you would if you go the easy way. People often never expect highly of us but it is our duty to prove otherwise. We are responsible for becoming someone high and there is NO excuse for us not being able to reach it as well. Nobody ever said it was going to be easy but that is the advantage of doing so. The selective people who chose to successfully reach the higher standard are unique in their own way because there stand out more than the ones who chose not to do so. For instance, those who choose to apply to a UC must go the extra mile to do letters of recommendation as well as having to write a well written personal statement. Cal states don't require a personal statement, but UC's do and those 2 different schools allies determine the limit of how many students are wiling to push through in order to successfully reach a high standard. There is no excuse for any reason not to do so. We should push ourselves to do more, in order to be somebody great.
