George Washington
George Washington states that in order to accumulate one's esteem they must be around the right kind of people to discover that. Within our lifetime, we must go through both the bad and good groups in order to learn from our own experiences. By know, we must have the knowledge to know when a there's a good and a bad group of people to associate with. Whether if it's the way they dress, act, respond, behave etc. You can look elegant but then hang out with a crowd that have their pants half sagged, or a in a group where one individual talks about another individual behind closed doors. Often time we only socialize with specific people to feel better about ourselves. As selfish as it may be and seem it still happens today and i myself am a accounted to doing so as well. Even if you know you can't find a good company there's always nothing wrong with being independent. Sometimes it's even better being independent than with other people. Being with yourself , you don't ever have to worry about expectations, pressure, stress, etc.
